About Gay Lazarus

In June 2026, I started posting as “the 67-year-old gay man“ on TikTok, just to share and reflect on my experiences about love, dating, loneliness, relationships and life in general.

I soon found out that my messages resonated with far more guys than I ever expected. I don’t really feel much connection with what LGBTQI+ stands for. Same-sex attraction is just a part of my life, and I don’t want to get lost in an alphabet soup. The fact that I like guys does not define my whole life, it is just one aspect of who I am. It is not my identity. There is so much more to life than who you are attracted to.

So I set up this community to give us a place to connect, exchange ideas, get to know each other and chat. A place where I hope you feel safe and secure. There is no need to be lonely, whether you live somewhere in the countryside or in a big city, this community is meant to give you a sense of place and belonging.
