Real experiences translated into sharp perspectives for navigating gay life after 40.
We spend too much of our lives figuring things out the hard way. Dating, aging, sex, loneliness, starting over. These are the realities we usually have to navigate completely blind.
I write these essays from the perspective of an older gay man with more than forty years of relationships, mistakes, and reinventions behind me. Some of these pieces are serious. Some are deliberately provocative. None of them are sugarcoated.
I am not here to preach or tell you how to live. But a problem often shifts when you look at it through the lens of someone who has already survived a few versions of it.
The goal of this collection is simple: to help you cut through the noise, look at your own life from a different angle, and make better decisions for yourself.
